I’ve mentioned this in Daniel’s app but Daniel’s biological father isn’t (we’ll call him Tom for now)’s biological father, since Daniel’s mother divorced and got into a relationship with someone else afterwards from the UK, resulting in Tom being born. For plot purposes(which I can explain in more detail if interested), I would prefer that Tom’s surname is different from Daniel’s. We can say that Daniel took on his biological father’s surname and Tom took on his father’s surname. [break][break]

• Tom was born when Daniel was around 8 years old and they had a pretty close relationship at the start. Daniel cared deeply for Tom and would kind of act as a parental figure now and then. However their relationship will have likely faded since Daniel’s capture, since they didn’t really see each other after that. I won’t go into too much detail here since some of this is explained in Daniel’s app. During Daniel’s time in the camps, he was offered a place in the MREA as a Guardian to hunt down Tom (since they deemed his power as red), while He refused once he was threatened a second time and agreed.[break][break]

• Tom would not know that Daniel has pretty much had his memory scrambled of remembering Tom, meaning Daniel would likely treat him as any other mutant if they were to encounter each other again.[break][break]

• Ok, so everything I’ve mentioned here is all the basics and what you need to know. I do recommend reading Daniel’s app since it can be helpful as a timeline of what happened and what you can cook up for Tom’s side of it all. You’re completely free to express your take on how Tom might have dealt with any of this and anything I haven’t mentioned is likely yours to interpret, including his mutant power (just make sure it’s red). I would like to add that Tom and Daniel did have a good relationship so when it comes to personality keep that in mind, then again Tom could have completely changed in those few years. Who knows.
