I usually prefer threads with proper character development, either for me, or for you. I can do planned and spontaneous threads. I don't mind threading something out to reach a specific point, but don't expect my character to act out of character. I'm fairly easy going about plotting and making threads. Want a thread? Ask for one! Want me to make one? Tell me to! Want to make one for us? Just do it!
Also, I prefer shorter, quicker threads than slow and long ones. I'd rather have a reply that's more "straight to the point", than one filled with fluff and stuff that doesn't really need to be there. Honestly, if you have several paragraphs of fluff, I'm not going to read it.
It depends entirely on my mood/how tired I am, which means I can post once a day, several times a day, or a few times per week. My mood can be fickle sometimes, but I keep up as best as I can.
I also write way less the times me and my boyfriend have days off together.
No more than two weeks. Once two weeks have passed, I will automatically remove my bookmark. I generally lose interest in a thread if more time passes.
I generally prefer volleying that happens naturally, rather than planned ones. Either the muse is there, or it isn't. It also comes down to the character and the thread, but if you're unsure, just ask.
Eh, I don't really care. Tag me or don't tag me. Up to you.
On the site, on discord or wherever else you have me added is fine. I generally don't write in other peoples plot pages, but feel free to write in mine. I'll reply there, too.
Don't assume anything about my character unless I've shared it or it's public information. Don't assume my character's reaction or actions. I control my character and their actions/reactions. However, as long as it's within reason, it's okay. Like say, your character grabbing mine by the hand, or lifting them up.
Romantic plots should happen naturally and not feel forced. If the ship gets boring or stale, it can end. I don't really believe everlasting romantic plots are common, but they can happen. As for types of romantic plots: I'm okay with them all. Just ask, as I'm usually a sucker for romantic plots.
However, I do expect a level of commitment to a romantic ship. Chances are, I won't ship with someone that spends days or weeks replying to a thread. While I don't mind people taking their time, I just have a tendency to lose interest if things move too slowly, thread replying-wise.
I don't do romantic/sexual ships with people under the age of eighteen.
We can play it out, imply it or fade to black. I'm game for whatever the thread requires, though, but let's be mature and realistic about it.
I don't mind things getting a little heated in the thread, but I have no interest in writing out the act itself, be it on site, the PG13 version or in private. I don't mind writing the before and after, but when the clothes come off and hands move down below the belt, we should fade to black.
If a thread, a pairing or a ship doesn't work out, or isn't fun anymore, tell me. There's really no point in dragging something out that isn't fun for both parties. Just talk to me. We'll figure it out. However, this goes both ways: If I lose interest in something, I expect people to act maturely about it. Communication is everything.
MEL'S RULEBOOK
PLOTTING PHILOSOPHY
I usually prefer threads with proper character development, either for me, or for you. I can do planned and spontaneous threads. I don't mind threading something out to reach a specific point, but don't expect my character to act out of character. I'm fairly easy going about plotting and making threads. Want a thread? REPLYING PACE

WAITING TIME
No more than two weeks. Once two weeks have passed, I will automatically remove my bookmark. I generally lose interest in a thread if more time passes.
RAPID FIRE
I generally prefer volleying that happens naturally, rather than planned ones. Either the muse is there, or it isn't. It also comes down to the character and the thread, but if you're unsure, just ask.
TAGGING
Eh, I don't really care. Tag me or don't tag me. Up to you.
CONTACTING YOU
On the site, on discord or wherever else you have me added is fine. I generally don't write in other peoples plot pages, but feel free to write in mine. I'll reply there, too.
GODMODDING
